The dates for Apple’s WWDC have been announced

The much-awaited developers’ event hosted by Apple will be held from the 3rd of June till the 7th of June, this year. The launch of the latest versions of iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS is much expected. This five-day-long conference focused solely on developers will be held at the McEnery Convention Centre situated in San Jose.

The tagline for this year’s WWDC has also been announced: “Write code. Blow minds”. Coupled by an image of a robot with its head exploding by a number of developer tools like Swift and Xcode, this tagline is already attracting attention from developers across the globe. In light of this widespread following, Apple has announced certain rules for registration. The registration window for the tickets for the event will be open only till 5:00 pm PDT on March 20th, 2019. Those interested can book the event tickets through the WWDC website. However, registering does not guarantee to book the ticket as the tickets will be issued by a random selection method. Eligible developers will be notified within 24 hours of closing of the registration window. The cost of each ticket is $1,599.

For those who don’t get the coveted tickets to the event can stream it live from the WWDC official app or the website. Apple aims to showcase and launch its new offerings to the passionate developers who are already creating brand new and rich experiences in key areas such as machine learning, health, and fitness as well as augmented reality. This event will be a hub of technical sessions, a range of speaking slots and hands-on labs. Along with this upcoming event, Apple is also in the news for its plans to unify iOS and macOS experiences in the future.
